This is a conglomeration of all the hens. They are healthy, friendly, and (I assume) happy. They're staring to lay little brown eggs which is the whole reason I spend the time and money on these birds. I sure don't do it for their cleanliness.

The picture shows their roost where they sleep every night and where they are every morning when I bring them water. My chickens get to sleep later than me!

Be sure to view their nesting boxes before you leave. This is where they are kind enough to lay the eggs.

This poor girl has had a rough beginning. In the first week, her poop got matted and dried to the down on her butt preventing her from being able to poop anymore. I believe she stopped eating as a result. I caught it on the second or third day but her growth was obviously stunted.

Then her foot showed signs of deformity. Her toes started curling to the side and appeared useless. Now, at five weeks, her toes are bent completely back and are still useless, but she manages just fine and is developing at the same rate as the other hens.
